ATEC (RTO# 40554) focuses on providing nationally recognised construction and mining training and certifications, delivered by and in partnership with industry clients, under industry standards and conditions.
With a wide range of qualifications and units on scope, ATEC specialises in certifications associated with HRWLs, WHS, scaffolding, mining, drilling and other site required areas such as first aid, CPR, working at heights, confined space entry, asbestos, light and heavy machinery and transportation of goods and cargo.
BIGA Training, a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), delivers tailored training solutions to the Queensland building and construction industry. All training is based around the needs of employers and apprentices. BIGA Training is a not for profit organisation that responds to the practical needs of the industry.
Comtech Training (previously Ramsden Training) is now under new ownership and management. They are dedicated to providing relevant and current technical training programs to industry. They provide training in such areas as Telecommunications (both carrier and commercial) as well as Technical Security, MATV and IT Networking. Their courses are nationally accredited and delivered in purpose-built dedicated training centres across Australian, including here at CTC.
EIM Training was established in 2004 specialising in niche training markets including Early Childhood Education and Care, Electrical Instrumentation, Business and Marketing. They have three campuses at the Gold Coast, Cairns and Brisbane. Their Brisbane campus is their Electrical Instrumentation hub located at CTC, delivering excellence in the Certificate III, IV and Diploma. EIM pride themselves on their use of modern technology, equipment and industry current trainers who provide the hands on, face to face engagement as required by the student. EIM also focuses on linking students in the classroom to employment, ensuring skill sets we train are current and relevant and put students at the front of the job line, advancement and income opportunities.
Everthought Education, specialists in building and construction training, have been delivering industry-ready graduates since 2011. Everthought Education group encompasses colleges in Queensland, and Western Australia; with facilitated learning operations in New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania and the Australian Capital Territory.
These colleges and operations deliver industry recognised courses from Certificate I through to Advanced Diploma, as well as highly regarded professional development workshops and tailored skills advancement.
Students can undertake study in a variety of learning modes including recognition of prior learning, on campus, facilitated workshops, traineeships and also apprenticeship.
Fire & Safety Australia provides nationally recognised training in all states and territories Australia wide. They have a dedicated full-time trainer team with 400+ years of emergency services and safety experience. They tailor their fire, safety, rescue and first aid training courses to the requirements of your site and they will also ensure that all training includes a substantial amount of ‘hands on’ and practical training.
Future Skills is an industry owned and operated registered training organisation specialising in post trade electrical and work health and safety industry training.

Go Train is a nationally-endorsed training organisation, registered in accordance with the AQTF Standards.
They provide face to face workshops, and e-learning solutions working closely with industries and their regulatory bodies to provide customised professional development courses and qualifications. If you are already employed or are looking to enter the rail industry, their qualifications will provide you with all the skills and employment requirements you will need to have a successful career.
The training and assessment for all qualifications are provided in a classroom format with simulated training at their dedicated Rail Training Facility in their newly refurbished training facility here at CTC. They are also able to provide flexible and on-site training and assessment at your workplace by prior arrangement.
ASG Integracom was created after the purchase of Integracom Management Group (RTO ID 51543) by Ashely Services group in early 2014. ASG Integracom continues to provide services in Integracom’s footsteps which has operated since 2006 throughout Australia to deliver high end and relevant technical training to the Telecommunications, MATV and Electronic Security Industries.
Today ASG Integracom is the largest private training company in Australia teaching telecommunications and Electronic security incorporating ten dedicated ASG Integracom offices and over 100 staff. In addition, ASG Integracom has sister RTO’s and support services through the Ashley Services Group which have national coverage of over 33 offices, 350 staff and a combined capacity training over 20,000 students per year.
Koolat Safety is a Registered Training Organisation (part of the WH&S More Skills group) specialising in High Risk Work Licences (HRWL) and accredited construction courses for people and organisations in the building, construction and resources & infrastructures industries. Their training includes mobile crane and tower crane operations and courses for associated HRW licences such as dogging, all levels of rigging, scaffolding, work platforms, hoists and forklift trucks. They also deliver training for Gantry Crane, Work Safely at Heights, Enter and Work in Confined Spaces and Breathing Apparatus. Koolat Safety operates in Brisbane, Sydney and Regional NSW (Mudgee training facility).
Lifting Skills is a Registered Training Organisation (part of the WH&S More Skills group) that provides quality training, accredited and non-accredited, in the construction and mining sectors. Their facility at CTC is one of the most well equipped crane industry (Transport and Logistics) training facilities in Australia covering 12,000 sqm. They provide courses for a wide range of plant and equipment in the industry, and their offering includes mobile crane and tower crane operator, elevated work platform, forklift, scaffolding, earthmoving, dogging and rigging courses.
Lifting Skills pride themselves on ensuring all trainees receive industry relevant training on equipment you would find in the workplace today. Whether it’s forklift or earthmoving courses, learning to operate a crane or EWP, they will provide you with the knowledge and experience you need to excel in your industry. What’s more is that their facilities have been designed to replicate a construction site, so you can be sure everyone receives training and awareness on how to work safely in a construction environment.
Master Painters Queensland has been a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) since 1998. They deliver accredited training and assessments to members, affiliated industry providers, tradesman and the general public within the painting and decorating industry. Master Painters Queensland Training Centre opened in 2007 and started training Apprentices for CPC30611 Cert III in Painting & Decorating.
MPAQ also delivers the Queensland Building and Construction Commission approved Business Management Course for contractors wishing to obtain their builder’s licence, as well as gap training, short courses and skills assessments (RPL) for workers who wish to have the skills and knowledge gained through previous “informal learning” recognised.
Milcom is an Australian-based organisation and a leading provider of training services in the Vocational sector, specialising in Business and Management qualifications as well as Telecommunications Engineering and Technical Security.

The National Electrical and Communications Association (NECA) is the peak national body and voice of the electrical and communications industry. NECA is the only national peak industry group run by electrical contractors for electrical contractors. NECA’s pivotal role is opening up more dialogue between policy-makers, influencers, suppliers and customers throughout Australia – advocating, educating and connecting all those involved with more opportunities.
The Queensland Chapter is the newest and fastest growing chapter of NECA. Occupational Health Services Australia, delivers Mining, Construction, OH&S, Rehabilitation and other related hazard/topic specific training courses and consulting products. OHSA is approved to deliver the industry recognized standard ‘Generic OH&S Induction’ which is the training identified by the Queensland Mining Inspectorate for new starters.
RudTek has been in operation since 2008. The company is owned by Cherie Rudzitis who is an active director and fulltime employee of the business. Cherie has been involved in VET for more than fifteen years, with extensive experience in managing Industry Training Advisory Boards (ITABs) and related business areas. They deliver our program/s online and/or as a series of workshops where participants attend for the nominated duration plus workplace projects. Program participants will be provided with phone and email coaching support when completing their assessment tasks.
Their Online Learning Centre allows clients to have skilled employees learning in a faster, more flexible way. The RudTek Online Learning Centre has been developed based on high quality RudTek content and training resources. This means that clients still get the results without the downtime of traditional training. Participants engage in live, trainer lead online tutorials and meetings; they collaborate, communicate online and make use of best practice forums.
The Service Trades College operates from a state-of-the-art Skills Centre at the Construction Training Centre, Salisbury. The Service Trades College’s approach to training is to provide high-quality trade and post-trade training in the Fire, Mechanical and Plumbing industries. Close consultation is undertaken with unions, employer organisations, employers and employees to ensure that training is relevant, up-to-date and provides value for money. We also pride ourselves on producing quality graduates that move on to enjoy successful and fulfilling careers in the Services industry. The Service Trades College provides apprenticeship training in Fire Protection Systems Technician and Mechanical Plumbing as well as post trade courses to meet the skilling needs of the Services industry. The Service Trades College can also tailor courses to meet individual or company needs.
Step into Training Services (SITS) (RTO 91533) is a National Recognised Training Organisation, and provides a range of qualifications recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework.
SITS involves industry in its training and assessment arrangements to confirm that their students meet industry requirements. WH&S More Skills is a customer-focused, Registered Training Organisation (No.32365) that specialises in delivering outcomes for people working in the building and construction industry.
They specialise in providing training and assessment for licences to perform high risk work and other related competencies. They can provide formal training and assessment, refresher courses, verification’s of competency and skills audits. WH&S More Skills can provide on-site and off-site training solutions. Licences to perform high risk work include Dogging, Rigging (Basic, Intermediate and Advanced), Mobile cranes, Forklifts, Elevated Work Platform, Vehicle Loading crane and Scaffolding. Other competencies include Working Safely at Heights, Confined Space Entry, Operate Breathing Apparatus, Earthmoving, Gantry or Overhead crane, Telehandler and EWP Yellow Card.
WH&S More Skills 4,000 sqm training facility at the Construction Training Centre in Salisbury is fully equipped with eight training rooms and all plant and equipment to undertake all training courses to the highest standards. WH&S More Skills aims to ensure that training outcomes provide not just a licence for an employee but an overall understanding of how the training relates to their everyday work procedures for a safer working environment.
