CTC has implemented a worker health and well-being program as a key initiative in adding value to the landlord/tenant relationship. The programme provides benefits such as a 24/7 gym, access to a “nutritionist in residence” and other allied health professionals and a range of health and wellbeing information and resources. These benefits are available to all workers employed by the various tenants at the CTC Precinct.
We have achieved Silver Recognition in the Queensland Government’s “Healthier-Happier-Workplace” scheme which celebrates and rewards businesses which demonstrate a commitment to workplace health and wellbeing.
The Construction Training Centre champions health focussed campaigns such as quitting smoking and MATES in Construction – a community development organisation aimed at reducing suicide and improving mental health and wellbeing within the Australian Construction industry.
The Whole-hearted-you programme is headed up by Hannah Kinder, Quality & Communications Manager who can be contacted on hannah.kinder@ctc.qld.edu.au.
